ROLPA, July 11: Dhanapuri Rokamagar, 61, of Thabang-5 in Rolpa district silently watched the cremation of her two sons on the bank of the Lungri River. Another son and a daughter were being cremated at the same time on the bank of Rapti in Dang district. She lost all four of her children in the tipper truck accident in Mustang Friday. Altogether 20 people were killed in the accident.

KATHMANDU, July 9: The government has decided to provide Rs 500,000 in relief cash to the families of those killed in the Upper Mustang tripper accident.

A few weeks back in Jhapa, two youths riding on a motorcycle were hit by a tipper, killing one on the spot, and leaving the other severely injured.

KATHMANDU, July 11: In view of the mounting traffic congestion during the rush hours in the Kathmandu Valley, the government has planned to ban tippers, trucks and mini trucks along the ring road from 9:00am to 11:00pm and from 4:00pm to 7:00pm from Wednesday.

DANG, June 7: Three people were killed when a tipper met with an accident at Peda of Saigha VDC of Dang last night.  Of the deceased, two have been identified while the identity of the third is yet to be ascertained. Driver Tilak Bahadur Gharti, 27, of Malta-9, Salyan, his helper and Ajay Nepali, 18, of Saigha-2 are those killed in the accident.
