Open letter to Sarita Giri

Dear Sarita Giri, recently you said that Nepal should have consulted India before publishing the new map showing Limpiyadhura, Lipulek and Kalapani of Nepal. You seem to think Nepal’s sovereignty—internally (at domestic level) and externally (at international stages)—is subject to approval or disapproval by neighbouring countries. What a pity!

KATHMANDU, Nov 7:  Nepal has supported Spain's efforts to ensure territorial integrity of the country in the aftermath of Catalonia declaring independence following a controversial referendum. Issuing a press statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said Nepal opposes any attempt to the secession of the country.

KATHMANDU, March 10: Defence Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the government is minutely studying and analysing all kinds of activities that might have been directed against Nepal's national interests.
