KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Nepal Police are conducting physical examinations at the Jawalakhel Ground for the applicants who are going to be recruited as temporary police personnel to provide security for the elections to the provincial assemblies and House of Representatives slated for November 20.

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: The process of the recruitment of temporary police personnel for the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections has begun. Nepal Police Headquarter, Naxal in a notice on Sunday invited applications from all prospective candidates for the posts.

KATHMANDU, Sept 1:  Nepal Police is set to purchase 180 vehicles for security purposes for the Federal Parliament and Provincial Assembly elections scheduled for November 20. Citing the lack of time, it is going to buy vehicles through a ‘fast track’ process without calling for tenders.

BARA, April 3: The written examination for the temporary police that was supposed to be held in Bara under the temporary police recruitment process opened for the upcoming local-level elections was delayed by over eight hours on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, March 21: Crowds of youth gathered in front of all 77 district police offices on Sunday. The crowds were there to apply for a 40-day temporary police service recruitment.
