JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 7: The construction of Nepal's second-longest suspension bridge has entered its final stage. Stretching over 1,501 meters, this bridge spans the Kamala River, connecting the southern regions of Siraha and Dhanusha.
JAJARKOT, Dec 3: Although the locals have been demanding construction of a suspension bridge over Seureni river located at Junichande rural municipality for the past 15 years, the government agencies concerned have failed to show interest to meet locals’ demand.
TANAHUN, June 14: The construction of a suspension bridge over the Sanghe Stream in Tanahun has neared completion. The bridge that connects Byas Municipality-7 and Myagde Rural Municipality-6 in the district is likely to be readied by the end of June. The cost of the project is Rs 4.3 million.

DHARCHULA, April 1: A Nepali migrant worker died after falling from a suspension bridge along the Nepal-India border in Darchula as he was on the way back to home from India after India announced a nationwide lockdown against the coronavirus pandemic. The deceased has been identified as Agabar Singh Thagunna, 42, of Marma rural municipality-2 in Darchula.
Badagaon-Kaiya Suspension bridge is situated at Parbat district. It is Nepal's one of the tallest suspension bridges located at the height of 156m above ground and has 347m length.These days domestic tourists are also attracted to this place.
DARCHULA, June 16: The suspension bridge that links Nepal to India in Darchula is to be closed for four days for maintenance. The bridge will be out of service from June 16 to 19, according to Chief District Officer Shanker Bahadur Bista.
