NAWALPUR, June 1: Madhyabindu Municipality in Nawalpur district has provided quality paddy seeds to farmers at  50 percent subsidized rate.

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: Sugarcane farmers have complained that they are yet to receive large amounts in outstanding payment from both the government and sugar mills. Even those who have received payments have complained of being paid less than the amount fixed by the government.

BARA, July 15: District Agriculture Development Office (DADO), Bara is about to distribute five tractors and four pick-up vans, purchased with 50 to 85 percent subsidy, to the farmers to aid them in land tilling and supplying their products to the market.

HETAUDA, Dec 11: Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi has said the government was committed to providing subsidy to investors from private sector in establishing industry for economic prosperity of the country.

KATHMANDU, July 28: While the government has already set up an economic rehabilitation fund to provide interest subsidy and cheaper credit to businesses and industries battered by the recent Tarai turmoil and last year's earthquakes, there has not been a single demand from private sector for such facility.
