Our constitution may not be the best document of the world but it has some provisions which are more progressive than many constitutions of South Asia

WASHINGTON DC/HONOLULU, Nov 13: United States officials including defense strategists and members of the intelligentsia have called on South Asian nations to make the right choice while entering into infrastructure development cooperation with China.

Complying with the geo-political reality in South Asia, the Great King Prithvi Narayan Shah in the late 18th century appropriately defined Nepal as “a yam between two boulders”. However, in due course of time, the equal and great friendship with its two giant neighbors, China and India, intended to ensure Nepal’s overall prosperity, did not live up to the Great King’s expectation.

Improvements in bilateral flight agreements have led to opening up of more destinations, providing a big boost to tourism in South Asia particularly between India and Sri Lanka.
