Commercial power generation from solar energy starts in Rautahat for the first time

RAUTAHAT, Sept 17: Commercial power generation from solar energy has started in Rautahat district for the first time. The solar power project brought into operation by Api Power Limited has already started production and is connected to the substation of Nepal Electricity Authority at Chandrapur through a 33 kV transmission line. The capacity of the project is said to be four megawatts.
Solar power project in Butwal starts commercial power generation

BUTWAL, Dec 22: The country's largest private sector-run grid that is connected to a solar power project has started commercial power generation. Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited has started commercial production after completing the work of 8.5 MW Grid connected to Butwal Solar Power Project.
