KATHMANDU, Mar 1: The winter rain and snowfall that started from Tuesday night ended Thursday. However, the western and eastern hills will be partially cloudy till Friday and Saturday, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DoHM).
HUMLA, Dec. 13: Snowfall occurred in different parts of Humla since last night has affected the normal life in district. Limi, Muchu, Tilgaun and other villages in the northern belt in the district have received snowfall since last midnight, affecting the normal life and movements of the people, according to Ratna Bhandari, a journalist working in the site.
DOLPA, May 3: A fresh census of snow leopard has begun in Dolpa. According to Shey-Phoksundo National Park of Dolpa, the census is taking place with financial support from the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF).

POKHARA, June 28: Mahesh Serchan recently lost his 15 yaks in a single day leopard. The wild beast had hunted his cattle even earlier. But this was the first time he lost so many cattle in a go. It has left the local of Kowang village of Thasang Village Municipality completely devastated. “How would I recover now? They were my most valuable assets,” he lamented. “Snow leopard has victimized us repeatedly,” he added.
