KATHMANDU, July 28: The Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI) has launched a manhunt for Rakesh Kumar Adukia, who is one of the two prime suspects on the DRI 'radar' since the seizure of around 100 kg of smuggled gold from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, JULY 21: A large quantity of foreign cigarettes was seized at the dry port of Birgunj in a container coming from Dubai via India. More than 5.8 million cigarettes of the Gudang Garam and Mond Variance brands were found in the container which was supposed to contain Moong Dal. Gudang Garam cigarettes are widely available in the market, but this is the first time when the police have seized such cigarettes being smuggled into the country through the customs.
