PHSC meet begins at Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU, Aug 1: A meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) has started at Singha Durbar. The meeting is likely to decide the fate of acting Chief Justice Deepak Raj Joshi as the new chief justice of the country.

Search for Common Ground and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) held a joint press meet to announce the airing of the season of the TV series of ‘Singha Durbar’, at the Yala Maya Kendra, Patan Dhoka on Friday. The 13-episode TV series is scheduled to debut through Nepal Television from 8:50 pm, Saturday.

ROLPA, May 22: It has been a year since the formation of the local governments but still the local units have been managing their offices in rented rooms and buildings. The enthusiasm and excitement that the representatives had in the beginning has evaporated of late. They are not happy with the fact that they have been performing their duties and offering services from rented buildings.

KATHMANDU, April 10: Singha Durbar, the administrative center of the federal government, has been formally powered with over 1-megawatt solar energy from Tuesday.
