Property worth 3 lakh stolen

BAITADI, Jan 20: Property worth Rs. 300,000 was stolen from three different shops in Dilasaini rural municipality last night.

UDAYAPUR, Nov 24: Even the shops in Gaighat, the headquarters of Udayapur district, sell expired goods which are rampant in the district. Following repeated complaints by the locals against the sale and consumption of expired goods, the District Administration Office (DAO) on Thursday conducted a market inspection. As expected, the monitoring team confiscated a huge cache of damaged and expired goods.

KATHMANDU, Sept 1: The Ministry of Supplies has brought into operation the fair price shops to ease the supply of daily consumption goods in view of the upcoming seasonal festivals.
