DADELDHURA, Oct 13: One of the biggest hospitals in the far west, Dadeldhura Hospital in Dadeldhura is crippling in the lack of human resources. The hospital has halted all major services including postmortem of dead bodies.
BIRATNAGAR, April 11: Doctors unhappy with their adjustment, or appointment at health institutions in the provinces and local units have been protesting all over the country for the past three days as of Wednesday. Biratnagar’s Koshi Zonal Hospital, has also halted its Out Patient Department (OPD) services, which was partially open till Tuesday, in accordance with the ongoing protests by the government doctors.
POKHARA, April 11: The agitation by doctors against the civil service adjustment bill has impacted badly on patients across the country, including in Kaski and Baglung. With OPD services halted, patients in the two districts have waited it out under the open sky . Some doctors are attending to them amid all the chaos.
KATHMANDU, April 6: Around 50,000 patients coming to government hospitals across the country have been affected by a doctors' strike . Doctors at the government hospitals have halted all services except emergency from Friday onwards, to protest the government's move to adjust them under the federal structure as per a newly-introduced civil service policy.
