KATHMANDU, April 22: Paragon Protalus Foundation (PPF), a non governmental organisation working for the welfare of underprivileged girls, has announced the launch of a new scholarship program 'ASHA - The Hope' on Friday. PPF is set to start with educating 180 underprivileged and deserving girls, setting the target to have 1000 scholars in the next four years, reads a press statement issued by the foundation.

The decision follows the announcement of increasing Pakistan's scholarship quota for Nepali students made during Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's recent official visit to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, August 18: Former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba and Lumbini Academic Collage (LAC) Chabhil, Chuchepati has announced the recipients of the Malvika Subba Scholarship on Thursday. The scholarship has been awarded to two indigent and diligent girls studying in grade 11 at LAC.
