KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Nepal's all-rounder Sagar Pun, who was roped in by the Malaysian Premier League (MPL) outfit Kuala Lumpur in July, has scored his maiden century in the league in a match against Selangor on Saturday in Kuala Lumpur. Opening the batting, Pun scored 109 runs that included 12 fours and two sixes.

KATHMANDU, Jun 7: Special Court on Thursday gave a clean chit to five individuals including former captain of national football team Sagar Thapa. Thapa had been implicated in match-fixing.

Buddhi Sagar was also the winner of Rastriya Kavita Pratiyogita (National Poem Competition) and Rastriya Kavita Mahotsav (National Poem Festival) in 2001 and 2003 respectively. He has recently been working on his third novel which is soon-to-be introduced this year. Buddhisagar shared the barely known five things about him in conversation with Republica’s Sonam Lama.
