BHARATPUR, Aug 8: One-way traffic has resumed along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section from 9:30AM today after clearing the landslide debris at two places.

CHITWAN, Sept 2: Vehicular movement along the Narayanghat-Mugling in Chitwan district has been disrupted from 8:00 AM today after landslides that took place in two separate locations along the highway.

KATHMANDU, August 9: A decade has passed since the government started expanding the 27.5 km road from Butwal to Belahia, the border point with India, but the road upgradation work on this stretch has not been completed yet. Since 2011/12, the government has been managing the contract for this road section as a sequential plan and the cost of expanding this road section was Rs 5.92 billion.

MUGLING, JUne 14: The vehicular movement which was earlier disrupted on the Narayanghat-Mugling road has resumed two-way. A huge landslide had disrupted the traffic since last midnight.

CHITWAN, June 10: The Narayanghat-Mugling road has been blocked. The road was blocked on both sides when a dry landslide fell on Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-6 at 8:45 AM.

CHITWAN, May 8: The Mugling-Narayanghat road section, which was blocked due to landslide, has come back into operation. The landslide at Topekhola in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-6 had blocked the road since 7:40 PM on Saturday.

SINDHULI, Feb 24: The under construction Dharan-Chatara-Sindhuli-Hetauda road section of Madan Bhandari Highway has reached the final stage.

CHITWAN, May 4: A wildlife underground passage (under pass) is being constructed along the Narayangadh- Butwal road section in course of its expansion. Currently, wildlife are using culverts and bridges to cross the road.

BHAIRAHAWA, Nov 18: The blacktopping in front of Bhairahawa Bus Station along the Belahiya-Butwal road section, a vital trade route of the country, has started to wear off even before the completion of the road widening project, thanks to the sub-standard work of the construction company.

DHADING, Oct 1: In a bid to ease Dashain-induced traffic congestion along the Naubise-Nagdhunga road section, the authorities are making preparations to use Dharke-Sitapaila road as an alternative route.
