CHITWAN, March 30: Three Rhinos that reached India from Nepal after being swept by monsoon floods are yet to be returned home. Thirteen Rhinos have swept away from Nepal to India in the incident that took place two years ago.
CHITWAN, March 25: On Sunday a female rhino in Chitwan breathed her last. She was spotted dead near a septic tank of a hotel in Jagatpur, Bharatpur Municipality – 23. With this, the number of rhinos to die in Chitwan in the last nine months has reached 41.

CHITWAN, Feb 6: A person died in rhino attack at Madi of Chitwan. The Chitwan District Police Office confirmed that Prem Raj Dhungel, 27, of Madi municipality-2 died when rhino attacked him while he was grazing cattle.
CHITWAN, Nov 10: A one-horned rhino which was rescued from Balmiki Tiger Reserve in India, and brought to the Chitwan National Park (CNP) on Thursday, has been released into the CNP today. Kunta Devi Mahato, 47, a resident of Kawaswoti municipality-7, Ramnagar Tole was found dead in Namuna Madhyabarti Community Forest, two-kilometre away from her house, on Thursday evening, police confirmed.
KATHMANDU, March 20: When the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) with help of the Interpol arrested Rajkumar Praja from Malaysia in 2015, Nepal Police and wildlife activists hailed it as a watershed moment for the campaign against one-horned rhino poaching in Nepal. They had ample reasons to celebrate Rajkumar's arrest. After all, he was not just another criminal.
