POKHARA, Oct 16: After a nine-month hiatus, paragliding enthusiasts in Pokhara are celebrating the return of their favorite adventure activity. On Sunday, paragliding flights recommenced, taking off from Toripani in Pokhara Metropolitan City-18 Sarangkot.

The factory stopped after its pre filter fan and electric motor broke down, said the factory’s Deputy General Manager Nabin Kumar Karna, adding that it resumed operation from Thursday after a repair.

BHARATPUR, Sept 24: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section that remained blocked due to landslides since midnight has opened for traffic. Obstruction on the road was removed and the road is open for vehicular movement since early morning today, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Chitawan.

RASUWA, Sept 22: The obstructed Pasang Lhamu Highway has resumed after one and a half months, allowing smooth passage of vehicles. The road was disrupted since August 10 due to landslides near Banuwa at Uttar Gaya Rural Municipality-5 in Rasuwa district. Around 70 meters of road was damaged in the disaster.
