No plan to recall ambassadors now: Govt

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: The government has clarified that there is no plan to recall Nepali ambassadors serving in various countries.

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: The government has decided to recall Nepali ambassador to South Africa Amrit Rai. Sources in the government said he is being recalled some three months before his term expires in order to give him a new diplomatic assignment as Nepal’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations in New York. A cabinet meeting held on Sunday evening took the decision to this effect.

KATMANDU, Sept 25: Nepal Loktantrik Forum (NLF) has decided to recall two of its ministers-Tourism Minister Jitendra Narayan Dev and Land Reforms Minister Gopal Dahit-- from the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led Cabinet.
