DHANGADHI, March 23: Dinesh Bhatta, the prime accused of raping and killing a 17-year-old Bhagirathi Bhatta of Chadepani of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-7, has changed his statement after a month of his arrest. The accused was sent to a correction center after he admitted to his crimes.

BAITADI, March 10: The District Court Baitadi has issued an order to send Dinesh Bhatta, 16, of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-7, Chadepani in Baitadi – who is accused of rape and subsequent murder of an adolescent girl – to a correction center.

KANCHANPUR, March 20: Sacked Superintendent of Police (SP), Dilli Raj Bista, surrendered himself before the Kanchapur District Court (DC) on Tuesday so as to record his statement on the Nirmala Panta rape and murder case.
