ARGHAKHANCHI, Oct 2: As many as 27 monkeys were found dead in a pond, probably due to drowning, at Argha of Sandhikharka-9 in Arghakhanchi district.

KANCHANPUR, July 21: Two artificial ponds have been created in Singhapur community forest in Krishnapur municipality. The ponds were created to facilitate drinking water for the protected wildlife in the forest.

Bhaktapur, March 12: A study has come up with primary fact that the 'Bhajya' or Bhaju Pokhari (pond) based in Bhaktapur municipality-1 was 500 years ancient than the Ranipokhari of Kathmandu.

Locals here believe that the temple is related to the king Birat of Mahabharat since the place is very close to the remains of Bhediyari, the believed capital of Matchya kingdom ruled by king Birat. Professor Dr Som Prasad Khatiwada says that inside the cremation area are the remains of Rani Math related to the Malini, the beloved of King Salahesh, a folk legend.
