Technicians reach mustard fields to control insect infestation

KAILALI, Dec 15: After an outbreak of insects in the mustard fields, a joint team of technicians from the Agriculture Development Branch, Plant Protection Laboratory, Kanchanpur, Agribusiness Promotion Support and Training Center has studied and monitored mustard fields in Punarbas Municipality of Kanchanpur.

PANCHTHAR, Sept 9: American fall armyworm has become a nuisance for farmers in the hilly areas of Province 1, of late. The pest which was earlier found in Okhaldhunga in the mid-hills has been spreading widely because of lack of mechanism for its control.
