KATHMANDU, June 10: The Tribhuvan University (TU), the biggest university in the country, remains padlocked for months under different pretexts, leading to chaos in the university affecting academic activities. Fear looms large about the anarchy in the university as stakeholders remain apathetic to the TU’s sorry state of affairs.

KAVREPALANCHOWK, Jan 28: Padlocked different offices of Dhulikhel-based Kathmandu University (KU) including classes of seven faculties have been opened after 28 days. The offices of Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Dean, Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), Technical Training Centre, main administrative building and classes of different faculties were padlocked from January 1.

GORKHA, Sept 6: Parents have enforced a shutdown of Manjushree Secondary School located at Kashigaun VDC at the northern part of Gorkha to protest no-shows from teachers who left the village to attend the examinations of Teacher Service Commission.
