Tara Air brings new Twin Otter

KATHMANDU, July 22: Tara Air has added new Viking DHC6-400 Twin Otter aircraft to its fleet. The aircraft arrived in Kathmandu on Friday from Seychelles via the Maldives and India.

HUMLA, Nov 28: A Tara Air's twin otter plane looses balance after a tyre gets punctured in the middle of the runway during takeoff. The flight was heading to Surkhet from Simikot, Humla . Thirteen police personnel along with three crew members were on board the plane. Two crew staff, including pilot Basanta Lama and two assistant sub-inspector sustained injuries and have been taken to the district hospital.
