LALBANDI, July 30: A joint team of the Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal and the Indian Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has demolished the human settlements built illegally in the no man’s land in Sarlahi district.

ITAHARI, Nov 23: A total of 23 border pillars in Kusaha of south-eastern Nepal were swept away by the massive flood in Saptakoshi river in Sunsari district over a decade ago. Among them, four were the main pillars while the rest were subsidiary ones. Those pillars have not been restored yet.

TIKAPUR, Nov 20: Kusumghat village of Bhajani Municipality-3, Tikapur, was formed in 1967 by clearing a massive forest area. The village was formed by people living across the Mohana River after they faced constant troubles from Indian robbers and dacoits. The village lies near the no man’s land.
