Nepathya gave an emotional tribute to the late Composer and Lyricist Suk Gurung at The Pam at Crown, Melbourne during the band’s Australia tour on Monday. After performing ‘Bhedako Uoon’, the front-man of the band Amrit Gurung expressed his condolence amid the jam-packed musical event as per a press statement released by Nepa-laya.
Nepal’s folk rock band Nepathya performed their first show of the ongoing Australia Tour at the newly refurbished Fortitude Music Hall at Brisbane, Australia, amidst a sold-out crowd of more than 2,000 on Wednesday.
Folk-rock band Nepathya gave a performance at Asian Town Amphitheatre, Doha on Tuesday. The venue was riled up with thousand of audience supporting the band as per a press statement released by Nepa-laya. The press statement quoting the lead vocalist of Nepathya, Amrit Gurung stated, “I wish you all blessing on this auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha. Also, I would like to convey my wishes for Janai Purnima which will be celebrated three days from Eid on full moon day.”
After performing in Dubai on March Friday, Nepathya frontman Amrit Gurung posted a video on his social media with a note, which said – “ Sabaibhandapahilahami…….Dhanyabaad Dubai, Maya Ra Sathko Laagi” –We are first………? Thank you Dubai, for your love and support.”
KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Nepathya officially ended their nationwide tour at Dhangadi on Thursday. The band started the tour from Birtamode on November 20. The tour was a part of the band’s 25 years celebration.

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Nepathya performed in the closing act of the 3-day long Rabong festival in Sikkim, Rabongla on Thursday. According to the press statement released by Nepa-laya, the band started the concert with ‘Kuroop Anuhar’ and proceeded with their classic hits like ‘Bhedako Oon’, ‘Chakeyo Chekyo’, ‘Lampate Surati’ and new release ‘Sirfula’.

The song penned by Rastrakavi Ghimire expresses the plight of a butterfly that is confined to a windowpane and barred to experience the brighter world. As per the poet, the composition of the song marks the beginning of Panchayat period.

Nepathya is preparing for a two-city tour of US starting this Saturday from Dallas. A press release issued by the band states that Nepathya is scheduled to perform at ‘The Bomb Factory’ on 9th June and will head to the ‘Royale Boston’ on 24th June.
