KATHMANDU, Sept 20: Nepathya is set to embark on a musical tour of Canada for the first time. According to the schedule, Nepathya will perform at ‘The Palace Theater’ in Calgary on Sunday, October 1. The band will then perform at ‘The Vogue Theater’ in downtown Vancouver on Wednesday, October 4. Both these cities are in the western part of Canada. The last show of the journey will be among the audience of Toronto, the former capital of the country. On October 8, the band will perform at the Toronto-based Canada's renowned ‘Massey Hall’.

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Bringing their Japan tour series to a close, renowned folk rock band Nepathya delivered their last performance in Namba Hatch Auditorium, Osaka on Thursday. Similar to their earlier shows in Tokyo and Fukuoka, the performance was supported by a large audience in Osaka.

Nepathya is going to perform in eight cities in Australia during this tour. Previously, in December 2019, Nepathya had a musical tour of six Australian cities with a series of performances.

Now, again, the band will go on Nepal tour with a new slogan and determination.

After two years of Covid-imposed hibernation, Nepathya welcomed New Year with a bang. Nepathya's first public concert post-Covid was held on Damak on April 14, Thursday (1st Baisakh 2079).

"We've made all arrangements to live up to the grandeur of the Nepathya concert as is expected by the audience," quoted Kiran Krishna Shrestha of Nepalaya saying, who manages the band. "We also have a new release on the show, which will be Nepathya's New Year's gift to its admirers."

Nepathya released a video of their old song, which was compiled nearly two decades ago. The song 'Pani Tirtire Lyau Bhanthe Babaile' was also collected by band's frontman Amrit Gurung.

Coinciding with the Bikram Sambat New Year, Nepathya has picked a song from their 2003 Album – ‘Bhedako Oon Jasto’ to bid farewell to the year 2076.

The Bhrikutimandap ground resonated with rock folk tunes by Nepathya on Saturday. The band began its live performance on time with the song ‘Aganai Bhari Hiu Nai Jhare.

Nepathya gave an emotional tribute to the late Composer and Lyricist Suk Gurung at The Pam at Crown, Melbourne during the band’s Australia tour on Monday. After performing ‘Bhedako Uoon’, the front-man of the band Amrit Gurung expressed his condolence amid the jam-packed musical event as per a press statement released by Nepa-laya.

Big Top Auditorium of Sydney was thronged with more than 2,900 footfalls on Saturday. The crowd was gathered to witness the performance of famous band ‘Nepathya’.

Nepali rock band, Nepathya is performing at Asian Town Amphitheater, Doha, Qatar on August 12. The band will perform there on the public holiday of Eid al-Adha.

One of the leading folk-rock bands of the country ‘Nepathya’ has launched a music video of national song ‘Rato Ra Chandra Surya’ via their official YouTube channel on Tuesday.

Nepathya released the lyrics video of the track, ‘Nasai Chyaba’ through their YouTube channel on Wednesday. ‘Nasai Chyaba’ is a song from Nepathya’s 2010 released album, ‘Aaina Jhyal’.

After performing in Dubai on March Friday, Nepathya frontman Amrit Gurung posted a video on his social media with a note, which said – “ Sabaibhandapahilahami…….Dhanyabaad Dubai, Maya Ra Sathko Laagi” –We are first………?  Thank you Dubai, for your love and support.”

Nepathya is all set to perform at Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai, UAE on March 15 after almost four years. This is the band’s first international gig in 2019.

SUNSARI, Nov 24: Nepal’s premier folk-rock band, Nepathya performed their second show of their on-going Nepal tour to the music enthusiast of Dharan, after nearly 15 years, on Friday evening.

Nepathya is set to embark on a ‘Four stop nationwide tour’ during the last two weeks of November.

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Nepathya performed in the closing act of the 3-day long Rabong festival in Sikkim, Rabongla on Thursday. According to the press statement released by Nepa-laya, the band started the concert with ‘Kuroop Anuhar’ and proceeded with their classic hits like ‘Bhedako Oon’, ‘Chakeyo Chekyo’, ‘Lampate Surati’ and new release ‘Sirfula’.

After a successful encounter with the audience in Kathmandu’s Swayambhu few weeks ago, Nepathya is set to leave for Sikkim in India.  The premier folk-rock band of Nepal is all set to perform at Rabong in southern part of Sikkim.

Honoring the contributions of the Centurian -- Rastrakavi Madhav Prasadh Ghimire -- in Nepali literature, Nepathya released the video of their 2010 song ‘Aina Jhyal’ on Wednesday. The song penned by Rastrakavi Ghimire expresses the plight of a butterfly that is confined to a windowpane and barred to experience the brighter world. As per the poet, the composition of the song marks the beginning of Panchayat period.

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Nepathya will perform in Swoyambhu on September 29 after a massive show in the UK. On September 1, the legendary band Nepathya played at O2 Brixton, UK. Previously, they had performed at Wembley Arena five years ago, and at O2 Academy Brixton three years ago.

Nepathya is set to make their third performance at O2 Brixton, London on the September 1.  The concert is being organized by Debbre Events.

KATHMANDU, July 1: After a successful 2 city US tour, Nepal’s premier folk-rock band, Nepathya embarks on a single show tour of Japan.

Nepathya is preparing for a two-city tour of US starting this Saturday from Dallas. A press release issued by the band states that Nepathya is scheduled to perform at ‘The Bomb Factory’ on 9th June and will head to the ‘Royale Boston’ on 24th June.
