CHITWAN, Nov 27: A joint meeting of five national parks convened in Chitwan regarding the effective security management of national parks in the Terai region.

KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Under the direction of Forests and Environment Minister Pradeep Yadav, the forest administration has prepared to amend the regulations to include private hotels and resorts within national parks and other protected areas. A committee has also been formed to revise the existing regulations.

CHITWAN, Dec 5: The fourth census of the rare Royal Bengal tiger began today from the Chitwan National Park and Parsa National Park. The census is being held by considering the two national parks a single block.

KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Nepal is all set to conduct national rhino census in Chitwan, Parsa, Bardiya and Shuklaphanta national parks this winter, officials said on Thursday.
