KATHMANDU, Oct 20: Metropolitan Crime Division Kathmandu of the Nepal Police has arrested a murder-convict after 14 years of the crime committed.

KATHMANDU, May 28: Amid protest from the public and various human rights organizations, murder-convict Bal Krishna Dhungel has been granted amnesty. Upon the recommendation from the government, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has granted amnesty to 816 jailbirds including Dhungel marking the Republic Day.

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Police on Tuesday arrested long-absconding murder convict Balkrishna Dhungel. Soon after the arrest, Dhungel, who is a leader of the CPN (Maoist Center), was produced before the Kathmandu District Court and was sent to Dillibazaar jail.
