KATHMANDU, May 16: Photojournalist turned alpinist Purnima Shrestha has successfully scaled Mt Lhotse (8,516 meters) at 8AM today. Shrestha shared the news of her successful summit along with her expedition organizer, 8K Expeditions, through social media today.

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: The number of mountaineers seeking permission to climb various peaks this autumn has climbed significantly.
