Mid-hills Highway in a sorry state

PANCHTHAR, July 11: A road accident at Chitre along the Mid-hills Highway on Monday killed one and injured nine people. The jeep, which met with the accident, was half immersed in the muddy road and is said to have veered off the road.

JAJARKOT, Jan 16: The Jajarkot section of Mid-Hills Highway is in a sorry state. Heavy rainfall and landslide in the rainy season has left the 92-kilometer section between Kudu of Jajarkot to Suyada in the border of Jajarkot and Dailekh nearly inoperable.
