KATHMANDU, Jan 24: In his letter to parliamentarians, Dr. Govinda KC, who is on the 16th day of his 16th fast-unto-death, has urged the elected representatives to be answerable toward their voters before endorsing the revised Medical Education Bill.

ILAM, Jan 17: On the ninth day of Dr. Govinda KC's fast-unto-death hunger strike, former vice chancellor of Tribhuvan University, Kedar Bhakta Mathema, former chief justice Sushila Karki, former speaker, Damannath Dhungana and activist Dr. Abhishek Raj Singh are leaving for Ilam to express solidarity with Dr. KC.
ILAM, Jan 14: Amid quick deterioration of Dr. Govinda KC's health condition, doctors fear that he might soon be shifted to a hospital that provides intensive care -- a specialty the Ilam Hospital currently lacks, according to Dr. Bijendra Kumar Shah.
