Lower House committee to consult Dr KC regarding Medical Education Bill

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: The education and health committee under the House of Representatives (HoR) is to hold discussions with Prof Dr Govinda KC and other people concerned from the related field with regard to the National Medical Education Bill- 2075 BS.
Lawmakers for passing medical education act in line with govt-Dr KC deal

KATHMANDU, Aug 17: Majority of the lawmakers at a parliamentary committee have stressed the need for implementing the deal signed between the government and Dr Govinda KC and bringing the Medical Education Act in line with the agreement. However, a few lawmakers insisted that the new act should not infringe upon the rights of the provinces.
