KATHMANDU, June 27: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) fell below 1,200-point mark on Tuesday. Weakness was visible in the equity market since the beginning of Tuesday's trading with the benchmark index dropping 6 points early in the session.
KATHMANDU, May 28: The stock market prolonged its losses further as the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index lost 17.81 points to close at 1,300.41 points on Sunday. The first trading day of the week witnessed a constant decline of the index which dropped 1.35 percent at the close.

Lumbini Medical College has stopped providing the allowance to new mothers since a month stating that it pulled out of the agreement with the government because it was bearing loss.

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: Rastriya Banijya Bank has decided to distribute Rs 870 million in bonuses to its employees despite its accumulated losses amounting to Rs 4.12 billion. The bank's board meeting last week took a decision to this effect by way of implementation of a Supreme Court order last December to pay out bonuses from profits earned in the last seven years.
