LONDON, Sept 27: The COVID-19 pandemic reduced life expectancy in 2020 by the largest amount since World War Two, according to a study published on Monday by Oxford University, with the life expectancy of American men dropping by more than two years.

KATHMANDU, Oct 23: The mid-term expenditure report published by the National Planning Commission envisions increasing the life expectancy of Nepalis to 73 years in two years’ time. The life expectancy is 72 years.
