KATHMANDU, June 7: Locals at Sisdole have obstructed dumping of garbage in Banchare Danda. Stating that they do not agree with the agreement reached between the government and the representatives of the garbage dumping area, the agitating locals obstructed dumping of garbage in Banchare Danda on Tuesday morning.

NUWAKOT, Dec 25: A small stream originated from the Himalayas looks reddish brown while flowing downhill from Sisdole, a landfill site in Nuwakot district where almost all the waste materials generated in the Kathmandu Valley are dumped.
