KAPILVASTU, July 21: Land ownership in the name of women in Kapilvastu is increasing due to the provision of exemption in registration. Until a few years ago, the number of women owning land was negligible.

KATHMANDU, August 5: The District Land Revenue Office, Tanahun, has waived off more than Rs 28.8 million in the fiscal year 2021/22 as the land ownership certificate was registered in the name of women.

DANG, June 23: Gopal Prasad Nagarkoti of Lamahi Municipality-3 sold his two-room house on 16.78 dhur of land on November 5, 2018 to Madhav Bhusal as repayment of a loan of Rs 500,000.
