Lalu Prasad found guilty in third case; sentenced to five years in jail

NEW DELHI, Jan 24: A special CBI court in Ranchi on Wednesday convicted Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Chief Minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav and another former chief minister Jagannath Mishra in the third case of multi-crore fodder scam related to fraudulent withdrawal of money from Chaibasa treasury in 1990s.

NEW DELHI, Jan 6: Former chief minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison and fined Rs 10 lakh on Saturday by a special CBI court in the second fodder scam case+ in which he was found guilty.
