PHUNGLING, Jan 4: The farmers here are worried about the marketing of kiwifruit. Although they had begun kiwifruit farming expecting good sales, they are now selling the produce at a low price.

BANEPA, July 20: A nursery farm growing Kiwi fruit sapling in Thapagaon of Banepa municipality-10 has suffered damage worth one million rupees due to floods triggered by heavy rainfall.

It can be consumed as a fresh fruit, in the form of juice, jam, and wine. Among Soyou, Monty, Tomuri, Abbott, Hayward, and Bruno, Hayward kiwi fruit is popular among Nepali farmers.
