KATHMANDU, Nov 21: In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the government has mobilized about Rs 100 billion internal debt, but in the second quarter, the government will mobilize only Rs 31 billion under internal debt.

The government’s revenue collection target in the first two months of the current fiscal year fell short of the target by 18 percent. The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and the Department of Customs (DoC) set a target of revenue collection of Rs 165.88 billion for the period between mid-July and mid-September.

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: In a bid to raise internal debt for the second time this month, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to issue development bonds worth Rs 10 billion on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, June 25: The Government of Nepal has announced its plan to raise Rs 3.91 billion of internal debt. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has confirmed that the internal debt will be mobilized through 91-day treasury bills (T-bills) on Monday.
