KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Minister for Home Affairs, Bal Krishna Khand today held telephone talks with the police chiefs of 12 districts. The conversations focused on the security situation of the respective districts, impact of COVID-19 on police service and ration meant for the police personnel.

After short interactions with locals, they would decide whether to give a concert or just quit, and move a little further in the neighborhood. Many people would shower love and affection, and a few would even harass them. An entire day's hard work meant enough money for meals for that day, and a sound sleep. They would even save a bit. And the same routine repeated, day after day. Life was hard, but it was beautiful.

KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Businesspersons at Thamel area on Thursday staged a protest demanding resumption of nightlife in the famous tourist hub in the capital city Kathmandu.
