SINDHULI, July 12: The BP and the Mid-hills highways have been obstructed since last night due to the landslide. The BP highway has been blocked due to deposition of landslide debris at Golanjor and Sunkoshi rural municipality, the District Police Office Sindhuli said.

Eyewitness claim that she was only wounded when the tractor hit her initially, but then the tracker reversed and crushed her to death.
JUMLA, March 13: A 27-year-old Hira Adhikari from Guthichaur Rural Municipality, Khallawad died after being hit by a tractor, with Na 6 Ta 2572. She was trying to save a child when the incident took place. According to an eyewitness, seriously injured Adhikari died after she was crushed to death by backing the tractor.
BARDIYA, Feb 13: With a budget of Rs 790 million, the construction of a 57-kilometer long stretch of the Postal Highway in the district has been expected to provide strong infrastructural backbone for the country. However, the construction has been marred with severe negligence on the part of the contractors of the project.
JAJARKOT, Feb 11: Constructed just five years ago, the Mid-hill Highway has potholes and developed cracks along the Jajarkot section, without beginning the vehicular movement. Use of substandard construction materials and landslides are blamed for the pathetic situation of the road.
