KATHMANDU, November 29: KIKUTA Yutaka, the Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, signed a grant contract with Babu Ram Gole, executive director of Kids of Kathmandu, for the construction of new classrooms at Shree Chandrawati Secondary School in Udayapur District. The agreement signing ceremony was held at the Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu today.

KATHMANDU, March 27: As many as 800,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines manufactured in China are expected to arrive in Nepal by Sunday.

The government has already asked the Chinese company to submit the necessary documents including phase III trial data of the vaccine

KATHMANDU, March 5: Japanese government signed a grant contract with the Nepal government for setting up water and sanitation facilities in Bardiya district on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, July 22: Government of Japan has agreed to provide a grant assistance of Japanese Yen (JPY) 628 million (equivalent to approximately Rs 639.9 million) to Nepal under the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) first and second phase and JPY 300 million (equivalent to approximately Rs 305.7 million) for the School Sector Development Programme (SSDP) respectively.

KATHMANDU, July 4, The Federal Republic of Germany will provide Rs 3.40 billion grant assistance to the government of Nepal for the implementation of renewable energy, maternal health service, and sustainable development program

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: The Government of Japan has extended a grant assistance of Rs 1.085 billion to the Government of Nepal for the rehabilitation of the Sindhuli road affected by the 2015 earthquake.
