Germany to provide 15 m Euro in dev grant

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The Government of Germany has agreed to provide Nepal with an additional development grant of EUR 15 million (approximately Rs 1 billion 815 million).

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Germany has agreed to provide Nepal with an additional development grant of 15 million euros to build Damauli-Lekhnath Electricity Transmission Line. Issuing a statement on Monday, the German embassy in Kathmandu said that the grant is an additional support to the 43-kilometer Damauli-Lekhnath 220 KV double-circuit transmission line.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Brokerage firms have not been able to start margin trading facility because of the delay in issuance of working procedure for the facility by the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse). 5.5m euro EU grant to CTEVT

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Nepal and the European Union (EU) have signed a grant contract of 5.5 million euros (Rs 667.9 million) with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for implementing the 'Sakchyamta' (i.e. Competency) project. The CTEVT will be contributing 61111 euros as co-financer of the project.
