KATHMANDU, Nov 9: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has removed the governors of Province 1, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces under the recommendation of the government as per Article 165 (b) of the Constitution.

KATHMANDU, July 11: A cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to give consent to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to formulate a bill for fixing salaries, perks and other facilities for governors of the 7 provinces to be formed in line with the new constitution, according to Minister of Sanitation and Drinking Water Prem Bahadur Singh.
