KATHMANDU, Sep 3: Pravesh Tamang, a 16-year-old resident of Kathmandu Lazimpat, who had gone missing from Dimsa in Rasuwa on the day of Janaipurnima, has been found safe and sound on Saturday afternoon.

RASUWA, Oct 7: An Israeli trekker, who got injured while trekking to Gosaikunda, has been rescued and airlifted to Kathmandu.

RASUWA, Feb 8: Devotees going to the holy lake Gosaikunda by air have been affected due to a snowstorm. Helicopter companies have stated that the scheduled flights had to be postponed several times due to the heavy snowfall.

RASUWA, Aug 27: The influx of visitors in tourist destinations of Rasuwa district has increased of late. The number of tourists travelling to Langtang, Gosaikunda, Tamang Sampadamarg, and Rasuwagadhi has increased.

RASUWA, July 29: The Gosaikunda Integrated Development Project for the promotion of Gosaikunda, a popular religious and tourist destination of the country, is set to come into operation.

RASUWA, Aug 26: The number of pilgrims visiting Gosaikunda, a high-altitude tourist destination as well as a popular Hindu religious site, has been increasing in recent years. Almost 3,000 pilgrims have reached the place in the past week, particularly to observe the Janai Purnima festival. The festival runs for 10 days.

Devotees throng Gosaikunda

RASUWA, Aug 24: The number of pilgrims visiting Gosaikunda to attend the fair on 26 August on the occasion of Janai Purnima is on the rise. Chairman of Gosaikunda Area Development Committee Sanjeev DM shared that 2,000 plus visitors have already arrived in Gosaikunda till Thursday evening. The Gosaikunda Area Development Committee has expected the arrival of around 15,000 visitors for taking holy bath in the Gosaikunda lake.

We arrived Gosaikunda on our second day of the trip from Kathmandu. The six-hour drive from Kathmandu to Gosaikunda via bus had exhausted us completely. However, pain that we endured all along our journey was gone away once we reached to Gosaikunda.
