‘Art is Power’; an artistic outcome by the girls who are asking for an equal world through their art work for the equal representation has begun at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited. One week long exhibition kicked off on September 22 that features around 150 representative artworks by girls.
The band primarily performs at events where they cover Nepali classics and sing their original “Thaha Chaina Bholi Ke Hola” before enthusiastic crowds. They have also recently launched their YouTube channel and are currently awaiting the release of their new single “Gunji Rahecha”. “There’s definitely an edge to being an all female rock band and we’re likely to raise more eyebrows than any other band but it also comes with a fair share of pressure,” says Renu.

JAJARKOT, Aug 1: Police have arrested Sabin Chand, 33 of Bheri municipality-4 for his alleged involvement in raping a 13 year ninth grader of Bheri municipality-2. The police are also searching for another person, Rupak Chand from the same municipality.
KHOTANG, July 29: Two teenage girls of Simapani Rural Municipality-8 of Khotang have been missing since the last 12 days. Thirteen-year-old Anita Shrestha and fifteen-year-old Sapana Tamang had reportedly gone to Kattike of the same rural municipality on July 16 after which they have become contactless.
