An art gallery in Paris has sought inspiration in ancient China to help it enforce social distancing, by providing hats with winged extensions for visitors.

Most murals or street art, along with their aesthetic values, have some sort of social message. Some street art might criticize the actions of the government while others may be telling spectators to embrace their own culture and traditions.

The exhibition features beautiful rural life and landscapes in vibrant colors and realistic forms.

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Two ceramic work exhibitions titled ‘Nari Satranj’ and ‘Initiation I and II’ are being showcased at the Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal.

KATHMANDU: Bindu, Space for Artists is organizing a printmaking exhibition at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Babarmahal. The six-day exhibition showcases works of 12 artistes, including Korean Printmaker Hyun Ju Kim.

KATHMANDU: Gallery MCUBE hosted the ‘Artist in Residence Seventh Season Exhibition’ on June 23 in Mitra Road, Patan Dhoka. The exhibition featured the works of four national as well as international senior artists in an open theme. Artists C.C. Chang and Chen Siao Chi from Taiwan along with Kapil Mani Dixit and Jupiter Pradhan from Nepal worked exclusively for exhibition.

KATHMANDU: Park Gallery, Pulchowk is adorned with the artworks created by the BFA students of Kathmandu University, School of Arts, Center For Art And Design. The exhibition titled ‘Off the Block’ kicked off on Friday. More than two dozen Kathmandu University students have their work on display at the exhibition.

KATHMANDU, Feb 22: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has decided to retrofit the historical Gallery Baithak building located on Singha Durbar premises. The building, which served as the parliament building for many years until a decade ago, was damaged during the April 2015 earthquakes.
