KATHMANDU, Dec 24: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is all set to conduct onsite inspection of the projects being developed under foreign assistance, citing the slow progress of a number of these projects.

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: Nepal received a commitment of foreign assistance worth Rs 90.54 billion in the first four months of the current fiscal year. Of the amount, 85.8 percent has been pledged in loan assistance.

KATHMANDU, June 23: Nepal mobilized around Rs 360 billion (around $ 3.13 billion) in foreign aid in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year. Of the total foreign aid, a notable portion was received by the Ministry of Finance (MoF) for repayment of interest and loans.

KATHMANDU, April 25: Development partners spent 29 percent of their total portfolio in Nepal out of the country's budgetary system in the last fiscal year.
