MPs Basnet and Shrestha, and former IGP Khanal file case at NHRC

KATHMANDU, May 4: Lawmakers of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Mahesh Basnet and Kisan Shrestha and a former Inspector General of Police Sarbendra Khanal have filed a case against the leaders of Janata Samajwadi Party including lawmaker Dr Surendra Yadav and a former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai.
DRI files cases to recover Rs 118.11 million in taxes, fine

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: The Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI), in its recent move, has filed cases against number of firms and individuals on charge of defaulting taxes and misappropriating foreign currency that caused the state revenue loss of around Rs 118.11 million.
