RAUTAHAT, March 10: The sugar factories in Rautahat and Sarlahi districts are facing a shortage of sugarcane. As sugarcane farmers stopped cultivating, the sugar factories in these districts are not getting sugarcane.

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: As the country is reeling under an economic slowdown, the production capacity of factories operating in Lumbini Province has shrunk by 5.54 percent.

ILAM, June 26:  Tea entrepreneurs of Suryodaya municipality in the district have announced to close the tea factories, saying they could not provide minimum wages to workers as determined by the local government.
