KATHMANDU, March 28: Lawmakers in the National Assembly meeting on Tuesday demanded action against the European Union Election Observation Mission for making comments against the constitution of the country in breach of their brief .

KATHMANDU, March 20: EU Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) has accused the Election Commission of lacking transparency and failing to publish critical information on polling center turnout and invalid votes.

The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) has been observing the electoral process in Nepal, since 25 October. It assesses all aspects of the electoral process and the extent to which the elections are in compliance with the laws of Nepal, as well as with international and regional commitments for democratic elections to which Nepal is a signatory.
